About the Event

How is Pure Harvest Achieving World-Leading Yields in One of the Harshest Climates in the Planet?

Toughest climates, humidity, temperature, and resource scarcities, and yet achieving the same quality and quantity as in the Netherlands. Pure Harvest Smart Farms is revolutionizing vegetable production with the most minimal resources available. Its outstanding track record is making best in class in Asia and the Middle East.

Pure Harvest is pioneering controlled-environment agriculture in the Middle East, North Africa, and South-East Asia, harnessing technology to tackle problems including food security, water conservation, economic diversification, and sustainability needs.

Pure Harvest's approach relies on a hydroponic growing system based on precise environmental controls, allowing it to manipulate temperature and humidity to create ideal growing conditions. Sensors, automation, and bees keep things humming. "We've decoupled food production from climate," says Kurtz, who describes Pure Harvest's system as a hybrid of a high-tech greenhouse and a vertical farm. The result is colorful rows of tomatoes growing as if they were in Tuscany, yet only meters from the desert. Alongside harnessing solar energy, the system is pesticide-free and designed to reduce water usage and boost productivity. It claims its technology is seven to ten times more water-efficient than typical desert greenhouses and produces yields more than 15 times higher while performing more than 35 times better than traditional field farming.

The ASEAN Dutch Chamber Network (ADCN) presents the first session of the year Greentech Masters: How Pure Harvest is achieving world-leading yields in one of the harshest climates of the planet? Learn how this company takes Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) to new heights through an exclusive online interview with one world's largest investors in the food and agriculture community in Southeast Asia. This time, it's an excellent chance to learn from the CEO, Mr. Sky Kurtz, from Pure Harvest. We aim to bridge that knowledge to the developing region and inspire the audience with the CEO's leadership and thought processes from top companies.

Manuel Madani, Vice President of NTCC and General Manager of the Priva Horticulture SEA. He has over +10 years of experience in Southeast Asia and moderates this interview session. If you are interested, don't be shy to sign up and prepare your questions because we will answer your questions LIVE!
